Lake Lipno and its surroundings have a great potential for sporting enjoyment. You will find several sports equipment rentals and sports centres here. On both banks of the dam, there are hiking tracks suitable for both hiking and cycling trips. The lake can be crossed from one bank to the other by using one of the three ferries. Moreover, you can extend your walks through the countryside by visiting the neighbouring Austria where you can get by crossing one of the six border checkpoints.
